When talking about aesthetics, primarily we imply on aesthetic interventions that bring nice and healthy appearance of teeth with veneers and teeth whitening.

Designing of a new and more beautiful smile, based on photography, we do a computer simulation in agreement with dental technician (our artist), dentist and patient which desires are fundament of a new idea.

Planed design is possible to put on a patient in reality as a sample so the patient can see if the colour, size, shape and overall change are satisfactory. After that we proceed to making a ceramic substitute.

Veneers

What is a veneer?

Veneer is one of the most used solutions that is being used by modern dental medicine for making white and proper smile.

Veneer is a thin layer of ceramic made in a way it can apply over tooth surface. It is being glued to the tooth with special methods, so there is no fear of moving or falling out. Sometimes for veneer making we use the composite materials of the top quality.

When do we use veneers?

Veneers can improve colour, shape and position of your teeth. Veneers can also be used for concealing minor flaws when orthodontic therapy is not suitable. If one tooth is not aligned, with veneer that can be adjusted.

They can cover up minor flaws and correct colour, size and tooth position. Also it can close a teeth gap (diastema). If you want to change your smile, have damaged teeth or your teeth do not have the same colour, you are an excellent candidate.

What are advantages of veneers?

Teeth that have veneers look natural and healthy because they are very thin and it is impossible to differ veneer tooth from a natural one. They have glasslike surface and they do not change the colour with time. Implanting of veneer is the gentlest intervention for gums and it does not cause infections or gingiva withdrawal.

Veneer Implant Steps

  1. After thorough examination, 0,5mm of front surface of the tooth is honed
  2. Impress is taken and colour is being defined
  3. Supplement is made so any work cannot be seen
  4. Veneer try-out and fixing

FAQ

1. How long will the veneer last?

Veneer usually last 7 to 20 years, but sometimes it is lifelong. Veneer, due to its thin structure, is not breaking resistant as crown, so it is necessary to be careful with solid food.

2. What happens with teeth after veneers?

The integrity of tooth itself is just marginally threatened and veneer is connected with other teeth. There is no major frequency of losing teeth under condition that veneers are suitable and, as earlier mentioned, with flossing and brushing.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth’s whitening whitens teeth, helps to remove spots and equalise the colour.

Teeth whitening is one of the most popular dental aesthetic procedures because it can enormously improve teeth appearance.

Teeth whitening is not one time procedure but it has to be repeated from time to time, if you want your teeth to have nice colour.

After protecting gingiva, teeth whitening is done with Opalescence BOOST paste that is chemically mixed and put on teeth, so the lamp is not necessary. Paste is very efficient and gives extremely satisfactory results which are proven by clinical studies.

The results of teeth whitening are seen immediately and its duration depends on eating habits of each person.

After the treatment it is recommended to avoid smoking, coloured foods and fluids (red wine, coffee, beetroot,…)
